Unemployment
Insurance provides cash benefits to workers who have become
unemployed through no fault of their own. These benefits
are paid to the employee by the State agency and charged
back to the worker’s base period employers. These unemployment
costs are totally paid by the employer. These costs vary
from State to State and are based upon each individual employer’s
experience.
